Wildlife

Plants

The site hosts ancient woodland dating back to before 1600. A 1972 survey by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust recorded 110 species.

Insects

The diverse habitat supports a large range of insects and we record the species of moths & and butterflies seen.

Birds

We provide a home to a wide variety birds, from small garden birds to large birds of prey.

Other Wildlife

Wild deer roam the woodland along with badgers, moles, slow worms, toads, and many other species
